Annual Report (2021-22)

Thirty years ago, women workers came together to build enterprises rooted in ownership, solidarity, and self-reliance. Today, that vision continues to guide us.

This year was shaped by both challenge and resilience. As women-led enterprises navigated the aftermath of the pandemic, SEWA Cooperative Federation stood alongside them with enterprise support, working capital, capacity building, and market linkages. Together, women’s cooperatives demonstrated that collective enterprises are not only economic institutions, but also sources of security, leadership, and hope in times of crisis.

This report captures a year of recovery, innovation, and collective action, while celebrating three decades of strengthening women-owned enterprises and advancing economic self-reliance through cooperation.
